Robin teaches all three levels of Traditional Usui Reiki. These classes are taught on Sundays throughout the year. Both individual and group instruction is available. A workbook encompassing the information is provided, as well as a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
Follow-up sessions offer the student practical application and they are provided free of charge as needed to develop the individual.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is pronounced Ray • Kee.
REI means “universal” and refers also to the spiritual dimension and the soul.
KI means the vital life force energy which flows through all that is alive.
Put together the word Reiki means universal life force energy. Reiki energy is whole, not dual; it is therefore, neither positive or negative. It is whole: encompassing all levels of healing; mental, physical, spiritual, emotional.
Reiki is “universal” energy; therefore, it is safely used at any time and in any place. It expresses the quality “unconditional” rather than “conditional. “Universal” means “applicable or common to all purposes, conditions or situations,” and pertains to that which is cosmic.
Reiki balances and works on four levels of existence:
Physical – the body and manifested pain.
Emotional – what you are feeling.
Mental – what you are allowing yourself to think.
Spiritual – your capacity to love yourself and others; your creative source.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese method of healing and relaxing the mind, body and spirit reintroduced in the 1800’s by Dr. Mikao Usui. Quite simply, it is energy channeled through the hands of a trained practitioner promoting healing on whatever level of the being it is needed. There is no negative associated with Reiki.
Within the human body there are seven major energy centers called Chakras and each corresponds to different areas of the body, and when any one of these centers becomes blocked with negativity or fear, “dis-ease” can and often times does occur. Reiki energy helps to eliminate and heal these blockages and fears and promotes balance and harmony within the levels of mental, spiritual, emotional and physical areas.
Because the practitioner is the channel they also receive the Reiki healing as well. Reiki is a gentle method of cleansing and healing the body on all levels promoting peacefulness and well being. The placement of hands corresponding to the chakras brings Reiki energy exactly where it is needed. Reiki works only for the persons highest good.
Some of the benefits of receiving a Reiki treatment are: balance of energy, increased creativity, release of stress, amplified energy, increased awareness, helps to release and heal negative emotions and works on the causal level of “disease”.
Reiki is spiritual in nature; however, it is not a religion. People of any faith can receive and learn Reiki. Reiki works well along side traditional medicine, amplifying the healing process and strengthening ones’ spirituality.
I teach Traditional Usui Reiki and there are three levels.
Level One initiates the student and they are taught all the hand positions, the definitions and explanation of what their chakras (energy centers) are and how to do a full session, a mini session, self session and group sessions. Much attention is given to learning what the energy body is, and how our life’s biography can become our biology. The attunement process places four symbols in the student’s energy field. The symbols represent body, mind, spirit, wholeness. A workbook is given to the student encompassing all they have been taught and they receive a certificate of completion, as they do with each course I teach.
Level Two Reiki teaches the student about the four symbols that were placed in their auric field and how to access the power of these symbols both for themselves and for others healing. A complete review of all that they learned in Reiki One and how they have been learning from it is also covered in this course. Also taught in Level Two Reiki is how to rake the auric field, beam energy from a distance, scan the energy body for anomalies, and tap into their own intuitive ability in regards to treating others. Ethics and confidentiality is reviewed again, as it was in Level One. Meditation is practiced and discussed and all my classes are hands on classes with a continued support upon completion with no additional charge. A student who is supported in their practice, is a student who will bring healing to others in compassion and with confidence.
Level Three, or Master Level Reiki is taught one on one with me because I believe each student requires specific attention to their unique spiritual growth.
In the Master Class you will expand your personal knowledge of energy. How to pass the attunements to students is given a great deal of time, as is the best method for the individual to hone their style of teaching. Also taught in the Master Level is the incorporation of crystals, aromatherapy, the use of the pendulum when checking the Chakras before and after a session of Reiki. Suggestions about how to handle class size and ease your way into teaching in a comfortable confident manner is also necessary to ensure the new Master Teacher will continue on the Reiki path. The Reiki Master study program is not a short course with me. Most students undertake an approximate year of study or more to feel mastered by this energy.
Reiki is a life passion for me and I can confidently state that no one I have ever taught has not seen a direct benefit to their life situation.
